When we designed and built the Lokal platform, we had two main aims:
1. Make it easy to sign up, create a workable profile and get started quickly.
2. Create a great user experience by making the platform simple, clear and easy to navigate.

Company Details
With Lokal, the company profile is key to achieving success on the platform. The better your company profile, the more attractive and engaging it will be to other users who may want to enquire about the services you offer.
In this section you can fill in all your company’s details and also add videos and images to showcase your company’s culture and bring your business to life.
Use the ‘Description’ box, to write a company profile that is succinct, engaging and gives users a great insight into your business.
Offered Services
In this section, select up to three services from the dropdown menu that your company offers. For example; if you are an Accountancy Practice, you might select ‘Accounting,’
‘Management Accounting’ and ‘Payroll Services’ as the three services your company offers. You must select a minimum of one service, but we recommend you list at least two or three different services in order to gain the most benefit from the matching technology on the platform.
You can change your services offered selections at any time.
Services of Interest
These are the services that your company is looking for. These can be services that are needed now, or in the near future. When completing this section, also think about the types of companies you would like to connect and network with. You must select a minimum of one service from the dropdown menu, but we recommend you list at least two or three services in order to gain the most benefit from the matching technology on the platform.
You can change your required services selections at any time.
Once you have added all your company details, images and videos, you call also add your company’s social media handles for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. This will give users the opportunity to look into your company in even more detail if they wish to.
Lokal Member Details
One of the unique features of Lokal, is that you only have one Lokal Member per company. This is to enable Lokal to become the go-to network for all Company Owners, Directors and Decision Makers who want to connect, network and share business with their counterparts in the most efficient and effective way possible.
Start setting up your member profile by pressing the ‘Upload Avatar’ button to upload a professional looking profile photo of yourself. You can also upload a video via YouTube introducing yourself and your business – this is highly recommended to increase engagement with your Lokal profile.
